VITRONIC at IBTTA in Berlin | 16.09.2011

Wiesbaden. At IBTTA’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition from September 11 to 14 the “who’s who” of the toll industry gathered in Berlin under the motto “Making the Difference”. As a pioneering Toll Collect partner who contributed to bringing the German truck tolling system into life, VITRONIC took part in the related exhibition and presented the latest TollChecker generation.

Hosted by Toll Collect and the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs the 79th IBTTA attracted a wide range of visitors from numerous countries worldwide, among these many European countries, the USA and South America.

The events’ key topics were worldwide tolling projects, interoperability and sustainability through road user charging. Especially the upcoming tolling for trucks on federal roads in France, the interoperability between the German and Austrian tolling systems were discussed widely. VITRONIC products play a key role in many of these projects worldwide and therefore congress participants crowded the VITRONIC booth at all times.
