5,000 Euro to support terminally ill and handicapped children | 03.01.2008
VITRONIC donates to the Bärenherz FoundationThe Bärenherz (Bear Heart) Foundation has received 5,000 Euro from VITRONIC. This money will be used in the renovation of the “Snooze Area”. VITRONIC President Dr.-Ing. Norbert Stein presented the donation to Hilmar Börsing, patron of the Foundation.
Bathed in gentle light and relaxing sounds, the “Snooze Area” will be able to give peace and new strength to the children concerned and their families. A large percentage of the donation is set aside for this purpose. The area will provide a small escape for the people involved from their stressful everyday lives.
Dr. Stein presented the symbolic cheque at a ceremony celebrating the inauguration of the new production building and the renovation of the company’s head office. The donation was made as an alternative to sending Christmas cards and gifts to customers, and isn’t the first time the company has given to a worthy cause this year. A previous donation was made by VITRONIC to the Deutsche Kinderkrebshilfe e.V (German Cancer Support Organisation for Children).
