CeMAT: Camera systems for data acquisition in Intralogistics | 11.05.2011

VITRONIC presented camera-based Auto-ID systems at this year’s CeMAT in Hannover from 2nd to 6th May.

VIPAC systems for manual, semi-automatic and fully automatica data acquisition have been presented at the booth. These systems acquire data along the entire process chain in intralogistics, i.e. in incoming goods department, during the registering of returns, in commissioning, sorting and outgoing goods.

The VITRONIC sales people outlined the quality of the technical discussions with the booth visitors. “Sometimes, less is more. The number of visitors compared to the last exhibition in 2008 has not increased, but we had more high-level discussions and could complete projects,” said Klaus-Michael Bücher, Sales and Marketing Director at VITRONIC.

Further details on camera-based identification technology can be found here.
