PoliScan^in-car is used for ALPR in free-flow traffic. Allowing in-motion surveillance it can be mounted on the front, rear or side windows which allows the license plates of even parked vehicles to be read. No retro-fitting is required as the system operates through reflective and tinted glass. All traffic scenarios are covered: Neither congested cities nor high speed motorways are a problem.

The PoliScan^in-car system can be either completely integrated into a police vehicle or it can remain fully portable, allowing it to be removed and used in other vehicles. Both options come with a touchscreen PC to display read results. If a ‘hit’ is detected the officer is alerted immediately and can act without delay.
