With its compact design PoliScan^smart is suited to ALPR applications where flexibility and discretion are key. For mobile operation PoliScan^smart can be mounted in a vehicle or on a tripod. A video-based trigger continually acquires images and each image is searched for a license plate.

Perfect for scenarios with moderate traffic speeds such as in towns, on country lanes and for access control. The modular design allows for up to two lanes to be monitored and the integrated flash allows for 24 hour operation. The system requires no in-road equipment and can be set up in a matter of minutes.
