TollChecker^avc provides precise 3D automatic vehicle classification at new and existing toll booths, achieving both rapid processing and reduced transaction costs. Using 3 laser scanners the system reliably determines each vehicle’s tolling class, calculates the exact fee and makes this available in real time.

The 3D scan includes vehicle height and width, axle counting and even identifies trailers, roof boxes, bicycles, etc. No in-road equipment is required for TollChecker^avc to operate which reduces installation and maintenance costs and keeps traffic flows constant.
