VIPAC software reads barcodes and 2D codes. With maximum read rates at conveyor speeds up to 4.5 m/s.

In contrast to barcode scanners, a VIPAC system generates images, with 17-times greater information density. This also is one reason why VIPAC reads codes that others can no longer scan, e.g.:

• incomplete codes
• codes that are difficult to read.

 
This is how you can further increase your read rate:

• comparison with databases: checks reading events, increases quality and read rate
• if used in connection with video coding: 100 percent read rate
• monitoring: stored images are analyzed; the supplier of the codes can change codes that cannot be read
