The robot vision system from VITRONIC now makes it possible to identify and handle complex and dimensionally unstable part geometries. Consequently, areas of industrial production that were considered to be non-automatable so far can now be automated.

The technology makes it possible to reliably and automatically handle objects of different sizes, object- and surface condition. The 3D identification system even recognizes complex objects and determines their coordinates in order to handle them automatically. It does not matter at all if the objects change in the long term, e.g., due to wear.
